The Wolves of Porterville

After a high-speed pursuit, Police Detective Sergeant
Magnum Schultz captures two of the three bank robbers.
The one who gets away is a serial rapist and must be
recaptured before he escalates to murder.
Another of the robbers is a half-blood Inuit from the Yukon
who has brought some special occult powers inherited from
his shamanic mother. Magnum later befriends him and his
wife, a glamorous, petite pole dancer who mysteriously
demonstrates the strength of a buffalo to save them both
from the bowels of an abandoned root cellar.
Meanwhile, gruff, sadistic bounty hunter George Rooney,
is transporting a felon from Montana. when his vehicle flips
over and bursts into flames! Magnum and 15-year-old
Jennifer save him, but Rooney’s prisoner has vanished!
Rooney claims that, just before the accident he was
distracted by an enormous wolf staring at him from the
middle of the roadway. The joke’s on Rooney--There are no
wolves in this part of the country. Right?
