Book 3

     After a high-speed pursuit, Police Detective Sergeant Magnum Schultz captures two of the three bank robbers. The one who gets away is a serial rapist and must be
recaptured before he escalates to murder. 
     Another of the robbers is a half-blood Inuit from the Yukon who has inherited some of his mother's shamanic powers. Though he's a prisoner, Magnum befriends him and his wife, a petite pole dancer who suddenly possesses the strength of a buffalo and  saves them both from being entombed in a dark, damp root cellar.
     Meanwhile, gruff, sadistic bounty hunter George Rooney, is transporting a felon from Montana. when his Ford Bronco flips over and bursts into flames! Magnum and 15-year-old Jennifer drag him to safety, but his prisoner has vanished!
     Rooney claims that, just before the accident he was distracted by an enormous wolf staring at him from the middle of the roadway. But there are no wolves in this part of the country!
